Bodhi began as Body Mind Balancing, my business as a Natural Health Practitioner. Over time, the natural products I created became an increasingly important part of what I offered, and Bodhi became the perfect name to represent them.
The name comes from the Bodhi Tree, the sacred heart-leaved fig tree associated with healing, wisdom and enlightenment. More than 2,600 years ago, Siddhartha Gautama is said to have attained enlightenment beneath a Bodhi Tree in India.
Today, Bodhi reflects the philosophy behind everything I make — simple, natural products created with care for people, animals and our planet.
